The Mean Green High Output Alternator is the answer to all of your charging problems. The Mean Green Alternator provides up to 300% more power than stock. The Mean Green Alternator can charge any engine no matter what its' power requirements.
The Mean Green Alternator's tool steel rotorshaft is supported at both ends by heavy duty double sealed bearings. Even the heavy duty solid copper starter windings are sealed with high temperature insulation. That's one reason we include a 1 year Warranty at no charge on every alternator. Another is the heat resistant, multi-function integrated regulator which continues to operate even at extreme temperatures. Special new castings permit use of stock bracketry and bolt hole locations. Even the stock wiring harness can be used for easy plug in. Designed to out last and out perform any other unit. Great for use in ambulances, tow trucks, motorhomes or vehicles with off road lights, winches, stereo systems or other power accessories.

Bought this alternator in May of 2018, Truck has had about 30000 miles put on it since then, and this already failed. Had it sent out to a rebuild shop. They called me back and said this alternator is all Chinese parts. Don't waste your money on this.

Bought and had issues right away mailed back and got replacement, lasted 3 years then seized up, not even 25000 miles on the alternator.

Purchased 1/2015 as an upgrade to the stock alternator. It lasted 3 years and less than 15,000 miles. The problems began a few months ago with the truck being incredibly hard to start & sometimes stalling at start-up. Once it got running, the truck seemed a little sluggish. One morning went to start the truck & the truck wouldn't start, almost thought the batteries were weak & I would need a jump. I did finally get it to start, but only after ripping the serpentine belt apart, only to find this $400 alternator was seized, bearings must be junk. I almost want to give this product 2 stars for being able to stall a 7.3L....kinda impressive!

Bigger alternator? Hi I have a 2001 ford f450 with a 7.3 diesel. I have a stock alternator, 110 amp. 7 to 12 hours of plowing my alternator cant keep up and my batteries take a hit. What higher out put alternator can u suggest?
