M.G. Industries has just released its new 200 amp MeanGreen Alternator for most all late model Chevy and GM Chassis with modular gas and 6.6L Duramax diesels. This unit puts out a whopping 220 amps at just 2,000 Rpm's. Designed to fit stock brackets, this Mean Green unit is a direct bolt-in. Great for sport trucks, SUV's, tow trucks, fleet service and emergency vehicle's at an affordable price.
The Mean Green High Output Alternator is the answer to all of your charging problems. The Mean Green Alternator provides up to 300% more power than stock. The Mean Green Alternator can charge any engine no matter what its' power requirements.
The Mean Green Alternator's tool steel rotorshaft is supported at both ends by heavy duty double sealed bearings. Even the heavy duty solid copper starter windings are sealed with high temperature insulation. That's one reason we include a 1 year Warranty at no charge on every alternator. Another is the heat resistant, multi-function integrated regulator which continues to operate even at extreme temperatures.
Special new castings permit use of stock bracketry and bolt hole locations. Even the stock wiring harness can be used for easy plug in. Designed to out last and out perform any other unit. Alternator was a very tight getting it into the bracket and the plug locations were different but after some persuasion with a mallet and wood block and some adjusting of the wire harness everything fit without any issues. Working great after a couple weeks and looks nice as well. Would recommend.

I received the alternator extremely fast. Both xdp and mean green state 5 min install. This wasn't my case. The alternator fit in the mounting bracket but the battery cable and electrical plug were on different sides making my 6 ga battery cable about 2" short. Icouldn't get an answer from XDP due to heavy call volume so I tried mean green. After making sure this was the right alternator, I had to lengthen my battery cable to connect it. 5 min install turned into 4 hours of running around town for the proper connectors to make it work. However, it seems to be working ok after about a week of use. Hindsight, I would ask customer service to physically check location of connections before buying to make sure you do not have to send back for replacement.
