Description
Get the Cold Side Intercooler Pipe & Boot Kit for your LBZ and LMM Duramax. The factory plumbing does not stand a chance against the added heat and pressure of your upgraded Duramax engine. With the Mishimoto Pipe and Boot kit, you get increased reliability, durability, and performance. The Mishimoto cold-side pipe is built from mandrel-bent aluminum and features a pleasing polished finish. This cold-side pipe eliminates the restrictive bends found in the factory pipe, allowing for improvements in airflow, power, and EGTs. Each pipe kit comes complete with Mishimoto silicone boots with DuraCore technology.
Mishimoto DuraCore technology is the synthetic material that makes up the innermost layer of all the Mishimoto silicone diesel boots. Compared to normal silicone, DuraCore provides you and your truck with superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oils. This increases the life of the couplers/boots by helping to prevent leaks and blowouts. To add even more reliability, you'll also get Mishimoto constant-tension T-bolt clamps for consistent holding power.

Very top notch, MISHIMOTO MMICP-DMAX-06CBK. Longer pipe goes on the intercooler side. 2007 classic LBZ, sounds good and runs stronger. Oder #1508003

The quality seems good. Heavy wall thickness on pipes, rubber boot seems up to the task, clamps ok. Instructions are a little lacking, there are none. I know it's only 3 main pieces but the pipes are slightly different, a little heads up on which one goes where would be nice. The pipe is a real bear to get the oring to slide over the engine side stub, really hard, the intercooler side was a little easier but still pretty hard.. Hint shorter pipe goes to the engine side, the longer one on the intercooler side. Fit is good once you have the pipes oriented correctly. Hopefully I see some reductions in pyro temps, I did this and hot side pipe tube upgrade while I removed the cooling stack to pressure wash. That's a job and half.
