The Mishimoto MMTS-RAM-94L Low Temperature Thermostat for your 1998.5-2013 Dodge 5.9L & 6.7L Cummins is a perfect option for those that live in warmer climates. A defective thermostat can result in engine overheating and potential internal damage. Improve the reliability of your cooling system with a Mishimoto Dodge Cummins Low-Temperature Thermostat! This thermostat is designed as a direct-fit replacement for your aged factory unit.

The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (180F) compared to the factory thermostat (190°F for 98.510 and 2013 trucks & 200°F for 1012 trucks). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, which reduces and maintains lower engine temperatures. This thermostat is ideal for use in warmer climates or under extreme towing/driving conditions. As with all our products, this thermostat includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, ensuring superior product quality and craftsmanship.

Not only is it expensive, it’s also trash. It barely lasted 1 month and came apart causing my truck to overheat!

Thermostat Fell Apart
Chuck H. (Robstown, TX) | January 25th, 2018
Cant remember the exact date I installed this thermostat, but the fact of the matter is it came apart or at least the spring and spring retainer come off the stem of the thermostat limiting and or preventing coolant to flow and causing my truck to overheat even in the winter time under normal driving conditions. Maybe I just got unlucky but not taking a chance buying this brand again, even though I do have this brand radiator in my truck. I also have pics.
