I've put this system into 3 trucks now. I previously tried the manual hub kits but didn't see any returns on fuel economy, so this little guy is a price effective way to get low range in 2wd. I work my trucks pretty hard and like using low range in stop in go traffic and when pulling up steep hills with a trailer on. my automatic transmission loves using the low range and it stays cooler because it stays in 3rd locked up even when I'm only going 30mph. the added gearing helps a lot and you don't bind up when turning on asphalt. I contribute my long lasting dodge transmissions to 2 modifications. 1 being humongous coolers and the second being these 2 lo kits. it's a great mod for any one working there trucks with heavy trailers
