PPE 113050000 Diesel Lift Pump

I try to see through the bad reviews knowing that i have always had good luck with PPE parts. Not true in this case. the pump motor is half the size i thought it would be. i figured made that would help with installation, but the size of the block changed that plan. That being said, i have a 62 gallon tank, so installation is time consuming having to drop the tank. i didnt mind because i figured it would be a one time thing. I finished the install, tested and found it is very loud even though i mounted on thick rubber to isolate. the noise didnt bother me really because it worked....for one day. about 1 hour worth of drive time. found it blew the fuse. I replaced and it blew instantly. tested the circuit and found the pump shorted internally. Sigh, what a pain in the ass. True it isnt an $800 pump, but still at just under $200, for it to last less than 24 hours is crazy. YES, believe the bad reviews. i am suprised the XDP still carries this piece of crap.

Ordered 2 lift pumps so I had a spare, and it failed after 1 day motor quit. They told me it could take 6 weeks to see if the pump was covered. Fill out a return form, mail it back, and once it's approved, mail pump back, and because of supply chain problems, it could take 6 to 8 weeks I paid 369.00 dollars and ordered them online, and they were delivered in 6 days, but the warranty takes 8 weeks. That's bullshit. XDP, I won't buy from them again.

I have a hard time believing any of the good reviews on this product. I purchased 1 in July 2025 and it worked until January 2026. I figured that it was just a faulty unit as it only lasted 6-7 months. Well I was wrong. I ordered a second unit and it lasted 3 days. I find it hard to believe to that i got unlucky twice, so I can only assume that these units are garbage. I'd spend the extra coin and buy a fass system for longevity.

Don't waste your money and time. I installed it on my truck and its kind of loud. Which is not a big deal for me. The problem is its sucking air into the fuel, which kind of defeats the purpose of a lift pump. I put in a fleece sending unit, and ran a new fuel line with -AN fittings and it turns out the adjustment screw on the pump is sucking air. Junk. If I could go back, I would just put the fleece in-tank pump. Order #1893681

So I bought this on Feb 12th 2021 . Installed it a little after purchase. My truck as been in the shop for over 3 months waiting on parts for various upgrades. Finally got to drive it for two weeks and it has died. Save your money and buy a Fass or Air dog.

Bought this pump for my 2001 cummins. it quit 1 day after the warranty was up and PPE would not do anything about it. Do yourselves a favor and buy a good pump
