Description
Upgrade the fuel system in your 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7 with the PPE 113072800 Race Fuel Valve. The PPE Race Fuel Valve (heat treated stainless steel) replaces stock or a shimmed pressure relief valve. This valve helps maintain fuel rail pressure during high engine load conditions. It eliminates potential low fuel rail pressure DTC codes P1093 or P0087 (low fuel rail pressure during power enrichment) that are caused by insufficient pressure relief valve spring pressure opening, returning fuel to the fuel tank.

This PPE relief valve combined with XDP’s boost increase valve is the perfect combo to get a little more grunt out of the LB7 without sacrificing reliability. Also tuning isn’t required. Highly recommend to anyone working on the fuel system! It’s the perfect time to throw in these little parts to make the final outcome just a little bit sweeter!

The PPE 113072800 Race Fuel Valve helps eliminate potential low fuel rail pressure DTC codes P1093 or P0087 (low fuel rail pressure during power enrichment) that are caused by insufficient pressure relief valve spring pressure. The P0093 code is set when the ECM senses a sudden large drop in fuel pressure within the system. This drop in fuel pressure can be internal, external or caused by a faulty sensor signal to the ECM. It’s possible the PPE Race Fuel Valve could help, but this is not one of the common codes associated with the Race Valve fix.
