Description
Give the bottom end of your 2006-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax more rigidity when you install the PPE 118034100 Main Stud Kit. This main stud kit will allow your engine to support greater boost and horsepower by adding strength to the main caps. The studs in this kit are manufactured out of 8740 Chromoly for minimal yield and centerless ground for accuracy. The threads are rolled to Mil-S-8879 specifications for superior strength and exceed the requirements of the most venerable stud manufacturer. This kit comes studs, parallel washers, & nuts that have a durable black oxide coated and assembly grease that is specifically formulated to give reliable load distribution for precise torque readings.

XDP Thread Cleaning Chasers (Sold Separately):
The XDP Thread Cleaning Chasers XD40125TC & XD40126TC are an excellent add-on to any main stud kit. Using Thread Cleaning Chasers during engine assembly allows you to properly clean the threads in your engine block before installing any fasteners. Clean threads will provide accurate torque readings that are critical when it comes to building the bottom end of your Duramax engine.
