Description
The PPE 218034300 Head Stud Kit will enable your Dodge Ram 5.9L/6.7L Diesel to handle more boost and horsepower. These head studs are manufactured out of 8740 Chromoly and are centerless-ground for precision featuring Mil-S-8879 spec rolled threads for durability while reducing stress on the threads. This kit comes with hardened parallel washers & nuts for even load dispersion and precise torque readings. With a corrosion resistant black oxide coating on all of the hardware, this head stud kit is resistant to the elements while providing strength and durability.

The XDP XD40125TC Thread Cleaning Chaser is an excellent add-on for your 5.9L/6.7L Diesel head gasket replacement or engine build. Using a Thread Cleaning Chaser allows you to ensure that the threads in your engine block have been properly cleaned before the installation of any fasteners. Clean threads will provide you with accurate torque readings which are critical during the assembly process.

I recently purchased a set of high-performance had both studs for my Cummins diesel I already had a set prior from another distributor and broke one and if anyone has ever dealt with these they know that they’re not cheap for a set of bolts you wouldn’t expect that but once I receive the ones from you guys I noticed right away in the paperwork that even though my first set that I broke actually cost more the set I got from you guys allowed me to put more torque on the head on my custom truck which intern as we all know relates into making a head gasket last longer hopefully LOL now that I have it all together the truck is better than ever I can definitely tell that the engineJust feels like it can handle more boost for some reason maybe psychological like I say it’s only been done a couple of days and could be wishful thinking but it definitely does feel like that the head gasket is it gonna last a lot longer this time thanks
