Description
The PPE 318034400 Head Stud Kit is an excellent upgrade for your 2003-2010 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke when running a larger turbo or other modifications. These head studs are centerless-ground for precision and feature threads that are rolled to Mil-S-8879 specifications for strength while minimizing stress on the threads. This kit includes hardened parallel nuts & washers for even load distribution and accurate torque readings. All hardware is constructed out of 8740 Chromoly and finished in a corrosion resistant black oxide coating for strength and durability.

Inner Row Head Bolts (Sold Separately):
Purchase the ARP 250-4206 Inner Row Head Bolts, or XDP Inner Row Head Bolt Kit XD3020HB. The Inner Row Bolts are an add-on that give you the necessary bolts to allow you to complete the job without having to reuse the factory bolts, or source a new set while your engine is torn apart. The inner row head bolts are used to secure the intake side of the cylinder head to the engine block and help to properly complete the factory bolt torque sequence.
XDP Thread Cleaning Chasers (Sold Separately):
Both the XD40126TC (for head studs), and XD40128TC (for inner row bolts) are an excellent add-on purchase that will be critical during installation. Thread Cleaning Chasers are the perfect tool to have on-hand to ensure that you have properly cleaned the threads in your engine block before the installation of any fasteners. Clean threads provide accurate torque readings and will help give you peace of mind during your engine build or head gasket repair.
