Description
The PPE Silicone Upper & Lower Coolant Hose Kit replaces the worn or leaky factory coolant hoses in your 2001-2005 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY. The factory coolant hose T fittings are molded hose or made out of plastic and are prone to cracking at junctions, causing coolant loss. Engineered for performance and durability, featuring 4-ply heat-resistant internal fibers that provide strength against high-pressures and temperatures.
PPEs Silicone Coolant Hose Kit incorporates TIG welded, polished 304 stainless steel T fittings that eliminate any chance of failures at the T junctions. Durable 5mm thick silicone is twice as thick as the factory hose to ensure long-lasting performance. Worm-drive clamps with W-style inner liners ensure a tight fit that performs better than factory. The PPE Performance Silicone Coolant Hose Kit is a direct, bolt-on upgrade that requires no cutting or modifications. Perfect factory fit with better-than-factory performance.

I paid almost $300 for this and it’s complete garbage. Lubed the inside of every pipe possible and this still won’t fit onto my water pump. I would not recommend to anyone.

I was overall impressed with the quality of the hoses, the prebends were in perfect locations. The stainless tee's on the lower end passenger side were beefy and nice to have. You'll have to dry fit the part to ensure the Tee's and couplings are in the right location and oriented how it's supposed to be. Take your time and be prepared to take a coolant bath at some point! Very happy to know that the lower end lines are well taken care of for the remainder of the life on my LLY.
