Upgrade your 2003-2005 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke cylinder heads with the ProMaxx 9601 Bare Aluminum Cylinder Head. With many years of testing, ProMaxx Aluminum Cylinder Heads have multiple advantages over the factory style cast heads such as increased flow, increased power, better cooling, and a weight reduction at over 42lbs less per cylinder head compared to stock.
Starting with the bare casting, each head is manufactured from ultra-smooth 356 T-6 aluminum, the same proven material used in ProMaxx's famous racing heads. With multiple strength and design upgrades, these aluminum cylinder heads are solid behind the injector cups, have hardened seats and guides, and also have the strongest injector hold-down boss available.
Sold as a bare casting without any valves, seals, or springs. This head is a perfect start for those that want to upgrade their valvetrain. This is a brand new casting with no core charge. 1 year warranty.

Out of the box the heads need some touch up on the intake and exhaust ports also the fuel rail needs cleaned out there was shavings and burs still attached. I called Promaxx about the torque for the injectors they insisted no more than 20FT LBS. the first run on the truck 7out of 8 Injectors lifted.
