The 6.5L engine was used in multiple applications. Some of the application utilized heads with bolts that went straight into the head and other utilized heads that the bolts went in on an angle.
If the application has a 3 piece intake, it will use angled head (normally found on the van or hummer). If the intake is one piece, it will use straight head (normally trucks).
