The Racor PFF7678 ParFit Fuel Filter Kit is a direct replacement for your 1994-1997 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke. ParFit fuel filters protect expensive system components from microscopic solid contaminates and damaging water. ParFit filters are engineered and manufactured to meet stringent quality requirements and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications for correct fit, long service life, and performance.
Racor is the OEM supplier of this filter element to Ford and Navistar. This filter doesn't just meet OEM standards, it is the OEM standard. Other filter companies have provided will-fit filters with the lid attached. The PFF7678 kit makes it easy to switch back to OEM quality, by offering an OE lid and an OE filter in one convenient kit.

I have been using wix filters for 12 years and they are $55 each now and have a higher micron rating so I decided to try these because of the great price and they are the same as Ford filters and have a lower micron Rating.

When I bought my 7.3 and originally I've been buying the expensive $50+ filters that are already attached to the cap from autozone. But now I can buy ford motor craft filters and reuse this cap! This product saved me a ton of $$
