Description
Add airflow to your 2016-2022 GM Colorado/Canyon 2.8L Duramax LWN with the S&B Filters 75-5086D Cold Air Intake with Dry Filter. With a 15.21% increase in airflow over the stock intake system, this Cold Air Intake provides increased performance and throttle response.
3 Airflow Configurations
Depending on your airflow requirements, you can use the box plug to have the front inlet be the primary source of airflow, install the auxiliary air scoop for two extra inlets or neither and open up the back-side of the airbox to provide a large secondary opening for airflow directly to the filter.
Large Airbox and Filter
S&B's intake kit for your Colorado / Canyon Duramax has a large airbox that engulfs as much available space as possible while mounting perfectly to stock mounting positions.
Less Restrictive Than Stock
Designed to minimize restriction. The intake tube is positioned in one clean line with little obstructions from the turbo inlet to the airbox.
Optional Auxiliary Scoop
Attaches securely to the airbox and is designed to pull cool air directly from the wheel well with two additional air inlets.

First thing I do to every single car I purchase is an intake. The market for 2.8L Duramax intakes is small. You might think with the small supply that the quality could be compromised. The quality of this intake is the highest I have ever purchased. I've had intakes upwards of $600 and this is nicer. Love this intake. The sound of the turbo is a little more prominent as well.

I ordered my intake back in July and didn't get it until November. My mechanic that tuned my truck told me to wait it out and stay with S&B, so I did. I got it installed fairly easily but waited till the next day to take her out. Let me tell you... you can hear that air sucking and that turbo whining!! This thing runs absolutely incredible! Not only does it sound mean and run like a scolded ape, but my fuel mileage is even better than it already was. I have a 21-gallon tank and will be pushing right under 800 miles on my first fill since the install. The only issue is trying to keep my foot out of the throttle to see what it'll really get, but I am easily breaking over 38mpg on the highway, and about 34/35 in town. I have a feeling I will be running about 42mpg once I travel home for the holidays. It'll be all highway miles. It looks amazing too! Worth the money and the wait!
