I notice a big difference in power & throttle response on my old, tired stock 2003 Ford F-250 super Duty 7.3L. What bother me is the lack of access to the power steering reservoir without taking out the filter & tube assembly. I will be upgrading the truck slowly hopefully; it's not cheat with diesel. I had an old aftermarket oilable intake that I couldn't keep clean and the mounts were no good. I spend a lot of time in the desert and in Baja and the last thing I need is a plugged up air filter. I took my time, read the instructions, and installed the new S&B filter in my 99 F250. I had some rusted out clips on the old battery tray, so it probably took 2 hours by the time I was done dealing with that mess. It was a real snug fit pitting it in, and the battery I have on that side takes a little persuasion to wedge in but the fit and finish are real nice and it really cleaned up that side of my engine bay. I'm not sure how much better the truck runs yet since I just took it around the block, but I'm happy to have a filter that's protected and I can see when it gets dirty. Nice product. I recommend it.
