I had an old aftermarket oilable intake that I couldn't keep clean and the mounts were no good. I spend a lot of time in the desert and in Baja and the last thing I need is a plugged up air filter. I took my time, read the instructions, and installed the new S&B filter in my 99 F250. I had some rusted out clips on the old battery tray, so it probably took 2 hours by the time I was done dealing with that mess. It was a real snug fit pitting it in, and the battery I have on that side takes a little persuasion to wedge in but the fit and finish are real nice and it really cleaned up that side of my engine bay. I'm not sure how much better the truck runs yet since I just took it around the block, but I'm happy to have a filter that's protected and I can see when it gets dirty. Nice product. I recommend it.

This intake not only looks good in the engine bay i have noticed a big difference in throttle response and spool up time

Not 1 piece of this product fits properly. I had to adjust and modify eventually throwing the whole battery tray away. If not for being an emergency fix I would have ask for a refund. All in all I used 2 pieces of this whole kit because nothing fits.
