Description
The S&B Filters 75-6001D Open Air Intake with Dry Filter has been developed to flows 51.71% more air while providing excellent protection to the engine in your 2017-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. While the OEM intake tube was designed to reduce engine noise, it also subsequently reduces performance. S&B starts from the ground up, making improvements every step of the way. They step up from the tiny 4" opening on the stock intake tube to an incredible 6"x5x5" inlet on their intake tube! An innovative insert is used to allow the MAF sensor to continue seeing stock parameters to keep that pesky check engine light off.
Being as an open air system, this allowed S&B plenty of real estate to fit an air filter, and they delivered! A massive Dry media filter tucks nicely where the airbox would be, using up all the space available while still providing a great fit and excellent engine protection. A black powder coated steel cage gives this filter some added external damage protection.
