I had my doubts at 57 years old I have seen a lot of things not work like I was told but this thing did great. Even my wife couldn't believe the difference it made. It's like a complete different truck. My truck ran good before but never like this thank you for a product that is worth it's cost and does what it says. Oh and performance tune that is the one I like.
Super Frustrated at First

When I received my SCT I immediately went to the internet and updated the files. I then made sure the firmware was up to date. When I tried to program a tune to my truck I received a 110d8 error code. It told me to tune back to stock. Ok....so I tried to tune back to stock and again got the same error. My dash panel lit up like Christmas and I received every error under the sun. My computer was jacked at this point! Sadly, I wasn't able to contact anyone because it was after hours. I called XDP Saturday morning looking for help and the support and customer service lines were unable to connect. At this point I'm starting to get frustrated and finally got a sales rep. His response was, that would be a problem for support to handle and they're not here on the weekends. To be honest you they're going to have to contact SCT for help. Well now I'm because my truck is dead and I have no transportation. I do more research and find out SCT has an emergency weekend email option from 10-4p. So I fired off an email. I received a prompt response from a tech and he was very helpful. Even though it was all done through an email, SCT's customer service was outstanding! They sent me a stock tune to download and it worked right away. In the update they fixed the programmer and now it works like a charm. The added power to my truck is awesome. I gave the product 5 stars because of the great customer service and the product once I got it working right.

Got it today and loaded the performance tune....wow! It woke up that lumbering 6.0! Shifts are crisp and the power is absolutely noticeable. Can't comment on fuel mileage, but I'm sure as long as I stay out of it I'll have an increase. The tuner is easy to read and navigate. Plenty of adjustments for everything. It is mountable, uses a standard gps mount. The color screen is a nice upgrade from the original, but is a bit small. However, I can clearly see all the gauge read outs. Running the canned tunes for now, eventually I'll spring for some custom tunes. All in all I'm extremely pleased! Shipping was fast, thanks XDP!

Absolutely! We tend not to recommend using the highest HP settings on stock applications, but you can certainly use the SCT 7015 X4 Power Flash Programmer on a stock truck.

If towing, why can't I use the 100HP setting instead of the "Tow" setting?

Towing on higher HP settings can yield increases in EGT’s. It’s not that you can’t tow in the higher HP settings, it just that the manufactures doesn’t recommend it unless one is closely monitoring their exhaust gas temperatures. Anytime you add additional power it’s important to keep an eye on your engines vitals.


The SCT 7015 X4 Power Flash Programmer will work with all of the 2015 FORD F-Series SuperDuty 6.7L’s.

The HP ratings are only lower than 03-04 6.0L’s because of slight differences within the fuel system. The 05-076.0L's are the same HP rating.

Will the SCT correct for larger tires?

The pre-loaded SCT tuning can be run on a stock vehicle. However, it is highly recommended that you install an intake and exhaust system to really maximize the performance. It is also highly recommended to monitor your essential engine parameters with some type of gauge/gauges. (Running high HP tunes on a stock application can be done, but the safety of doing so will depend greatly on the operator, supporting modifications and conditions of the vehicle.)

To hook an pyrometer probe to the SCT 7015 X4 POWER FLASH PROGRAMMER you will need the SCT 9817 EGT SENSOR KIT.

Can a manual transmission benefit from this tuner? I have a ZF6 manual 6 speed transmission on a Ford 6.0 Powerstroke. I am not familiar with this transmission to know whether there are configurable elements to it that this tuner might tweak. A fast/smooth shift from first to second appears to be a no go on this transmission and I was wondering... can the tuner help in this area?
