Description
The SCT 9817 EGT Sensor Kit from XDP allows you to monitor exhaust gas temperatures with your SCT BDX Performance Programmer. Exhaust Gas Temperatures can be one of the most important parameters that you need to monitor on your turbocharged engine. This plug-n-play sensor warns the driver of situations that are potentially damaging to the engine, and it can also be used as a guide for optimizing fuel economy. The EGT Sensor Kit features a stainless steel EGT probe and is RFI-shielded for accurate monitoring and comes complete with everything you will need including sensor, signal amplifier and the Livewire analog connector.

Overall kit quality seems nice. I’ve found the sct x4 to be a better tuner than monitor. Seems like about every 4th time I drive the truck the EGTs says it’s at 32 degrees and I have to unplug the x4 to get it to give me a real EGT rating. Works better than not having one, but I feel like I should have bought a separate monitor rather than buying this kit.

Bought this to monitor exhaust temps on my SCT X4 tuner (after the previous motor blew piston rings,...). Shipping was very fast, and product is the excellent quality I've come to expect from XDP. You'll never be disappointed with these folks - they deliver on what they say.
