Replace the worn hydraulic clutch system in your Dodge Ram 5.9L /6.7Ldiesel with the South Bend Adjustable Hydraulic Assembly HYDX.750. Hydraulic systems can wear out or become less
effective as they age. Common failure points can
include a leaking slave cylinder, failed master
cylinder, and cracked or hardened lines. Symptoms of a fluid leak or
worn-out seal can include a soft or spongy pedal, difficulty shifting
gears, as well as the pedal sticking to the floor.

assembly comes prefilled with fluid and eliminates
the need to bleed the hydraulic system, speeding up the installation
process. This hydraulic assembly is a must-have when upgrading or
replacing the clutch on your truck.

I have needed this part for over a year, and let me tell you. It made a world of a difference. My stock slave cylinder was broken some how, and the pedal would actually come out of the fire wall and get jammed under hard acceleration, and it barely had any resistance to it when you went to apply the clutch. After I installed this, which was straight forward. It actually feels like I have a clutch. And its probably good that I did this, because the electrical part was broken on the old one, so you could start it whether you were holding the clutch in or not. Anyways, I found that mounting the reservoir is alot easier when you drill tiny holes first. That way the self tapping screws aren't walking all over the place. And the metal clip that it comes with to old it to the pedal, I don't know if I was not putting it on right, but to me it seemed like it could just fall off. So I kept the plastic piece that held the old one to the pedal.
