Replace the worn hydraulic clutch system in your Dodge Ram 5.9L /6.7Ldiesel with the South Bend Adjustable Hydraulic Assembly HYDX.750. Hydraulic systems can wear out or become less
effective as they age. Common failure points can
include a leaking slave cylinder, failed master
cylinder, and cracked or hardened lines. Symptoms of a fluid leak or
worn-out seal can include a soft or spongy pedal, difficulty shifting
gears, as well as the pedal sticking to the floor.

engagement, consistent pedal feel, and long-lasting durability. Each
assembly comes prefilled with fluid and eliminates
the need to bleed the hydraulic system, speeding up the installation
process. This hydraulic assembly is a must-have when upgrading or
replacing the clutch on your truck.

So far, so great! Extremely firm (and heavy) pedal feel. Adjustable but came perfectly set. I had gone through two NAPA versions in 2 years, finally just bit the bullet. This one with the remote reservoir was significantly easier to install. This included the clutch safety switch which I believe would have made this a better / cheaper option when compared to needing the hydraulic assembly AND switch. Highly recommended! Shipped SUPER FAST to Alaska!

After being told by the dealer that the clutch master assy for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L with the Merc 6 speed was back ordered 18 months - I looked for alternatives. I found the South Bend Adjustable Hydraulic Assembly HYDX.750 here on XDP to be almost exactly like the stock unit I have replaced twice in just over 500K miles. This South Bend unit appears to be a high-quality part with high-quality components. I am getting pretty good at replacing it so - old out and new in was about 20 minutes.
