The South Bend SDD3250-GK Street Dual Disc Clutch With Hydraulic Assembly is a great way to upgrade the slipping clutch in your 2005.5-2018 Dodge Cummins 5.9L & 6.7L With 6-Speed G56 Transmission. This clutch kit contains everything you need for installation including a half ceramic, half organic clutch material with the organic side of the clutch facing the flywheel and pressure plate for an effortless clutch engagement. A 13" diaphragm style 3250lb. pressure plate offers a light pedal feel and a direct-fit replacement and the center plate is lugged to fit the flywheel while still allowing you to tow over 30K lbs. of cargo.

This clutch is only for use on the stock 1-1/4" 10 spline input shaft.

Excellent clutch.

Order number: 1299084A. I purchased the Southbend dual disc clutch rated for 650hp with the 1.375" input shaft for my 1995 Dodge Cummins. The stock clutch was slipping in 4th & 5th gear. This clutch is holding very well & I have had no problems with it. The dual disc is obviously more aggressive than the stock clutch, however, after driving with it for about a week, I am used to it. It has a great feel when shifting and the truck now drives much better. My axle has the 3.54 gear ratio, which makes the clutch seem a bit more aggressive. However, I have a friend that has the same truck with the same clutch, but he has a 4.10 gear ratio. His clutch has much smoother engagement because of the lower gearing. Either way, this is a great clutch and I firmly believe that it was worth the money spent. You will not regret it!

The clutch is very good quality. I pull a goose neck and tractor and it holds everything I throw at it. Stock burned up at around 60 thousand miles. I have 80 thousand and still no slip. Seems to shift a little slower though. smarty, intake, exhaust, edge insight, bd boost fooler

Just a quick word about South Bend Clutches--Using my Dodge Ram 2500, I just pulled a SEMI out of a predicament--his Right front tire was off the road in a ditch. Put it in 4-low and pulling together, got him unstuck. My clutch, a dual-disc South Bend, did not slip at all. Gotta love it (and Cummins, of course!). Getting the right one was a bit of a chore, but once that was done, I was golden. Be sure to call them before you order if you have a 2005 Dodge! Thanks Xtreme Diesel for hooking me up!

I need the 1-3/8 input shaft for the g56 trans but dont see it offered I have an 08 ram2500 with a 6.7 and g56 trans. just wondering if there is a kit with the hydraulic assembly and the input shaft? if not where can i just get the shaft?

The G56 transmission does not require the input shaft upgrade.
