Order #658445First off, the difference between these lights and the factory lights are literally night and day. Just having functional high beams is wOrth the price of these lights. However, there is a rub. Contrary to what Spyder says, these are NOT "plug and play". Installing and tuning these lights is not something just anyone can do. If you're not comfortable with tracing and splicing wires, or willing to spend hours trying to tune them, then you should ask someone else to do it.I own a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Anyone who owns an 03 to 05 and has replaced headlights in the stock headlamp assembly can attest that the space behind the headlamps is cramped at best. For whatever reason Spyder designed these lights with the adjustments behind the headlamps. So to tune each low beam, you must repeatedly remove, adjust, install, and check until you get them set. Now you can tune the passenger side high beam without removing the assembly, but not the driver side. And to make matters worse, there is nary a hint from Spyder as to how to make these adjustments. That's right...it's all trial and error. I ended up with the driver side low beams so out of whack that it frustrated me. After about 2 hours I finally got them tuned.I will be glad to explain the "secret"; clockwise to raise, counterclockwise to lower...only for the low beams. For the high beams, just the opposite....and you must go CCW at the top and CW at the bottom to raise the high beams. For the lateral high beam adjustment, to go right, it'seems CW. To go left, it's CCW. That works for both high beams.I would have had no problem rating thsee lights to 5 stars if the install and adjustment wasn't such a pain the the posterior. But because of the lack of instructions, frustration, and major waste of time, that cost it a star. Otherwise, when they're tuned, they're beautiful.
