The Titan 7010201 52 Gallon Mid-Ship Replacement Fuel Tank for your 2001-2010 GM 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax Crew Cab, Short Bed provides you with additional fuel capacity for peace of mind whether driving down the highway or through remote rural areas. The increased capacity also gives you the ability to shop for lower fuel prices without having to fill-up every time you pass a fuel station.
Most stock (or original equipment) tanks are relatively thin and made of materials like Linear Polyethylene. TITAN Fuel Tanks are made of corrosion-proof, High-Density Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLHDPE), which is bonded molecularly. Also, the nominal thickness of all TITAN Tanks is ¼ of an inch.

TITAN Fuel Tanks utilize common sense design features, which simplify installation. They reuse most of the stock components, including the existing sending unit. The tank itself is nearly indestructible, but light enough to be hefted by one or two people. While a vehicle hoist and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done. Installed the tank my self really easy, took about four hours. you do need fuel line tools, and make sure there are no sags in the vent hoses, or you wont be able to fuel fast, it will burp fuel at you. Looks good and you can't really see it.

Excellent tank for the money. I installed it by myself in four hours on the weekend. Filled it up and drove to Texas and back to Arizona on 3 tanks instead of six with the OEM tank. I did have a slight leak at the sending unit that was fixed by taking the tank down and scraping out the groove for the o-ring. I reinstalled everything, verified everything was tight - AND NO LEAK! Filled it with 46 additional gallons of diesel and no leak to this day in 110 degree Arizona heat. Can't wait to pull my trailer to see how far I can go on one tank. Great job Titan! I would recommend obtaining a tank for your vehicle just to increase your driving distance after one fill up. AWESOME!

This tank was a perfect fit for my 08 GMC. This was one of the best mod's I have done to this truck. This Titan is a must for towing your RV. The added fule range now is remarkable. All the OEM gauges work except the miles to empty on the on board computer. But thats not a problem since you doubled the fuel just double the miles til empty.I might add I've had this Titan in for 2 years now without any problems...

Depending on the application the tank size can be recalibrated by a local dealer or using EFI Live. Call Titan Fuel Tanks for details on this.
