The Titan 7010201 52 Gallon Mid-Ship Replacement Fuel Tank for your 2001-2010 GM 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax Crew Cab, Short Bed provides you with additional fuel capacity for peace of mind whether driving down the highway or through remote rural areas. The increased capacity also gives you the ability to shop for lower fuel prices without having to fill-up every time you pass a fuel station.
Most stock (or original equipment) tanks are relatively thin and made of materials like Linear Polyethylene. TITAN Fuel Tanks are made of corrosion-proof, High-Density Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLHDPE), which is bonded molecularly. Also, the nominal thickness of all TITAN Tanks is ¼ of an inch.

TITAN Fuel Tanks utilize common sense design features, which simplify installation. They reuse most of the stock components, including the existing sending unit. The tank itself is nearly indestructible, but light enough to be hefted by one or two people. While a vehicle hoist and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done. I see that this product has mostly good reviews and am not sure why i so strongly disagree with them all. This product was a complete joke. The mounts are flimsy aluminum straps that had to be modified to make work. With this, they work now but i do not foresee them lasting. Overall, the tank just does not fit the frame rails or their own mount well at all. I highly recommend to everyone to keep looking and stay away from Titan. For the price, I expected much more and was very disappointed.

three bad tanks in a row , Titan was very helpfull and supportive , however when it was all said and done I went back to my oem tank and spent alot of money for nothing !

Had my Titan tank on for 2 years when the Titan support bracket on the front of the tank broke allowing the tank to slide into the driveshaft, wearing it super thin. There customer service was terrible, guy on the phone was really rude, tried telling me it was my fault it broke. Titan made me buy a new bracket for a $150ish and low and behold when it shows up its an updated beefed up bracket. They knew they had a problem and where still jerks about it. I'll never do business with them again!

Depending on the application the tank size can be recalibrated by a local dealer or using EFI Live. Call Titan Fuel Tanks for details on this.
