The Titan 7020211 50 Gallon Mid-Ship Replacement Fuel Tank for your 2011-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke provides you with additional fuel capacity for peace of mind whether driving down the highway or through remote rural areas. The increased capacity also gives you the ability to shop for lower fuel prices without having to fill-up every time you pass a fuel station.
Most stock (or original equipment) tanks are relatively thin and made of materials like Linear Polyethylene. TITAN Fuel Tanks are made of corrosion-proof, High-Density Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLHDPE), which is bonded molecularly. Also, the nominal thickness of all TITAN Tanks is ¼ of an inch.
TITAN Fuel Tanks utilize common sense design features, which simplify installation. They reuse most of the stock components, including the existing sending unit. The tank itself is nearly indestructible, but light enough to be hefted by one or two people. While a vehicle hoist and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done. Lifetime warranty on tank body.

Took hours to install but works great. Dealer in Jacksonville would not program for the 50 gallon tank so the DTE would be correct. I finally bought the Forscan OBD connector and it worked. Great tank and don't run out of fuel with the fifth wheel.

Comes with everything needed to install. It does hang down about 3-4in lower then stock so any offroad use i would get the skid plate. On a side note... once I ordered it i got an email saying it was back ordered a month+ but the skid plate would be here in 3 days. I called XDP and they contacted Titan for me and immediately found out it was a typo and was only delayed 6 days not 60! That my friends is customer service! I cant remember the guys name but THANK YOU for calling them . Amazing service once again by XDP!Invoice No. 1033211A

How does that affect my average fuel mileage gauge on the dash?

Answer
The average fuel mileage gauge on you dash will not be affected. Your analog fuel gauge will also work the same with the TITAN Fuel Tank as it did with your original stock equipment tank.
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)). For best results, we recommend working with a performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers.
How much farther down than the stock tank does it hang?

For most applications the TITAN hangs about 1 to 2½ inches lower than the stock tank. Usually the difference is negligible.
I have a 2015 F-350 crew cab FX4. Will the XDP TFT7020211 fit my truck. Last week I called your facility and asked if the fuel gage will work correctly and the person I spoke with said I would need to take the truck to Ford and have them reflash the PSM, is that true?

The fuel gauge will still function like it did with the stock fuel tank but if you would like the factory distance to empty (DTE) calculation to be correct, that will have to be fixed at the dealership.
