Volant 15066 Air Intake System

The Volant 15066 Air Intake System was built and designed to outperform other intake systems on the market for your 2006-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax. During testing we found that the competitors intakes only produced 2 hp at 5500 rpms at 80 miles an hour. Who goes to the grocery store at that speed? We designed our intake system for that immediate response off the line, and the torque when towing. Our specially designed filter and box draws cool air from three locations. Yes three! The scoop from the valance, between the headlight and from the fender well.

The air rushes through the box and speeds up as it tapers down and the expanded chamber in the duct gives the added air needed to create an air flow that provides an extra 25 hp. The Volant Pro Guard 7 filter included in this kit adds the best filtration possible without sacrificing airflow. The efficiency on this media was also tested through ISO standard and destroyed the dry filtration filters. This combination of features has opened up Volant and your truck to the next level. 

Note: Volant has made a running change and their replacement air filters may come in blue instead of red. The function, design, and the filter media are all the same, it is simply a change in the oil that Volant uses on the filter.
