Walker 225-1213 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

Replace the failed manifold absolute pressure sensor in your 1999-2002 VW 1.9L TDI with a Walker 225-1213 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor from XDP. The MAP sensor measures the manifold pressure/vacuum entering the engine's intake and reports the information to the vehicle's computer. The computer uses this information to calculate the amount of air coming in, the exhaust that will be leaving, the amount of fuel needed, and other factors that help the vehicle run efficiently. Newer turbocharged engines commonly have more than one MAP sensor to monitor intake pressures.
