The Walker 273-10004 Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor from XDP replaces the faulty sensor on your 2011-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax LML. EGT sensors can fail from exposure to excessively high temperatures for extended periods of time. Also, damage to wires due to excessive vibrations, as well as exposure to other contaminants, fluids such as oil or antifreeze, can all affect the sensor's functionality.
