The Wehrli Custom Fab WCF100355 3" Cold Side Intercooler Pipe from XDP is an ideal upgrade for your your 2004.5-2005 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY. Replace the restrictive 2.5" factory tube with a 3" high flow, mandrel bent, 14-gauge aluminum one piece pipe.Designed to improve airflow between the turbo and engine for improved efficiency, throttle response, and turbo spool up. This part uses upgraded silicone boots to withstand higher boost pressures than the factory components. This helps increase reliability and eliminate weak points in the factory design that can lead to boost leaks or complete failures in hard working and high-performance applications. Boot connection is straight at the intercooler unlike the angled factory boot connection.

This pipe is compatible with stock trucks requiring no additional modifications, upgrades, or tuning for installation. Installs easily with basic hand tools.
