The XDP Coolant Recovery Tank Reservoir XD214 is a direct replacement for the reservoir tank in your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. Also known as a "Degas Bottle", or "Expansion Tank", this item is often overlooked during preventative maintenance. Due to the harsh underhood conditions and countless heat cycles in your engine bay, the Coolant Recovery Tank can swell, crack, or become damaged causing leaks and leading to other cooling system issues. The XDP Coolant Recovery Tank features an OE-style design for an easy installation, long life, and durability. Cap not included.

It fit right back in place just like the old degas bottle. Only wish it had a max fill line like the factory reservoir did.

Nice degas bottle. Everything lined up as it should. The only thing I didn't like is that the nipple on the bottom of the tank didn't have bevel on the end to help the hose fit tight and seal up. So I just double hose clamped it and it seemed to stop the drip. Overall, I would still recommend because you can't beat the price anywhere.

Bottle is well made however, I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't include a "Maximum" or "Minimum fill line on the bottle. It doesn't even include a sticker like the OEM bottle has. In my opinion, for something that is manufactured new, it should have it molded into plastic. Order #1400668
