Description

The XDP Air Intake Heater Delete Plug XD130 removes the restrictive stock intake heater resulting in increased airflow and added performance. An additional feature of the intake-heater delete plug is that it is drilled and tapped with a 1/8 NPT port which allows you to connect your boost gauge exactly where you need it, at the intake manifold. To install a boost gauge, simply remove the 1/8 plug from the center of the intake heater delete plug, and insert the boost gauge fitting.

No, the intake heater delete will not cause difficulty warming your 7.3L in colder climates.

Will the check engine light come on or set a code?

Ford 7.3L's - Make sure the Blue wire stays attached to the solenoid to ensure the PCM does not set a code.

GM LB7's - The truck will through a check engine light, but this can be turned off with the use of EFI live.

Will this fit my 2002chevy silverado 2500hd lb7 durmax. And will it throw a code. I only got the edge tuner cs2.

Aftermarket custom tuning is required to turn off the intake heater for 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7 trucks otherwise a code will be present.
