Description
The XDP HD Replacement Battery Cable Set XD437 is designed to restore the function of the charging and starting system in your 1994-1998 Dodge with 5.9L diesel engine. Battery cables that are old, frayed, or failing can cause a lot of problems in your truck. Inferior battery cables can cause poor charging, hard-start or no-start conditions that can leave you stranded or put strain on your electrical system.
The XDP Replacement Cables are constructed from 2/0 (or 00 AWG) wire for optimal conductivity and are made specifically for your application with heavy-duty crimped-on tin plated copper terminals. Each connection is then sealed with an adhesive lined shrink wrap to reduce the risk of oxidization from the acidic battery fumes that can shorten cable life. Each set comes ready to install with military style battery terminals, terminal covers, and wire loom for added protection.

Battery cable from driver side battery to passenger battery is a touch too short, yeah it fits but if they added a couple more inches it would be a lot cleaner. Also ground cable from battery to frame is not included in the kit, complete wiring kit, is all new wiring for charging system. So that kinda sucks too all new wire except that. 1 Extra star because the tags on which cables are for where was a cool touch. Order number 1800686
