XDP HD Replacement Battery Cable Set XD439

I'd give this kit 4.5 starts if I could do half stars. The quality is awesome, cables, lugs, and terminals are all great. Couple of gripes though, all of the cables, but mostly the heavier gauge cables were a bit longer than OEM cables so it made it harder to route without getting the excess in the way. Bending the excess was also harder. As the previous review mentioned, the terminal covers are a great idea in theory, but when you start adding multiple cables, especially of large guages, they become almost useless. Also, wiring up several lugs to one terminal such as the drivers positive, is hard because the lugs have to go a certain way because of where the cables are coming from, so it makes it difficult to get them all on there easily/neatly. I did love how everything was labeled clearly, and it's not too hard to do since all you have to do is follow the cables. Some bolts were a little harder to get to than others, but not bad overall. The installation instructions suck and are worthless but if you know you're way around the truck/know what you're doing, its not hard. Install takes about 3-4 hours if you do it right and make it look like OEM. Use electrical tape to tape off the cable covers at the ends, tape up the cable tie downs to the wire that runs above the radiator and not the cable cover, etc. Would recommend!
