Description

The XDP Intake Air Heater Delete XD168 for your 2006-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ/LMM is designed to allow for easy removal of the Intake Air Heater on your truck. Removing the factory heater fins will eliminate air turbulence and increase air flow, allowing for better performance. Built in the U.S.A from billet aluminum with a durable anodized finish. The Intake Air Heater Delete features (5) pre-drilled and tapped ports for a boost gauge, water-methanol injection, nitrous or other accessories.

You must have EFI Live or some engine management software that will disable the code. You must be able to disable this code in order to get the check engine light to go out.

What are the benefits of putting this on my LBZ?

Increased air flow and performance. Removing the heater fins will eliminate the air turbulence and allow better performance. (Same theory as mandrel bent exhaust and cold air intake having a more consistent/smother tubing.)
