The Empire Performance EPE-5R110S Modified Direct Clutch Solenoid for your 03-10 Ford 6.0L/6.4L Powerstroke was designed to deliver a solid solution. The 5R110 TorqShift transmission is one of the most robust transmissions ever offered in a medium duty pickup. It does however have a weakness. The 5R110 transmission is controlled through the use of solenoids to turn on and off gears. A gear is commanded by the computer and a solenoid applies fluid directly to that clutch. In stock power applications the stock solenoid is fine. Outside of that range, the factory piece cannot provide enough fluid to the clutch fast enough to get the clutches together in a short enough time. Long term slipping of the clutch leads to failure. Direct clutch is not only used for 5th gear in the transmission, but it is also used when in reverse as well. All solenoids are modified from brand new parts and are then tested in house on a Solx 2000 Solenoid tester.Features: Made From Brand New Parts Fits 5R110 TorqShift Transmission Installation Note: The included plastic cap must remain installed on the end of the solenoid or damage to the transmission can occur. The Empire Performance EPE-CRKPINKIT Crankshaft Pin Kit for your 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax allows you to key your Duramax crankshaft in your own driveway with your own tools. Empire Performance Engineering specifically designed this crankshaft pin kit to fix the all too common shearing of factory dowel pins. This kit can be used on stock or heavily modified vehicles. It has a very simple procedure that can be done by your average skilled mechanic.
Due to Duramax's crankshaft poor design process of keying drive gears a random light vibration can found during idle. This is found after dampers spin on the crankshaft snout by shearing factory key. If you were to continue driving with this issue it can raise concerns in regards to harsh harmonics to balancing of the crankshafts. This tool and procedure will put your mind at ease towards maintaining good harmonics and balancing of the crankshaft. All this without losing durability and reliability.
A must have for any Duramax owner or shop. Extra dowel pins can be purchased and the included 1/4" drill bit has a life expectancy 5 procedures before needing replacement.

The Empire Performance EPE-FC6401 Mechanical Fan Clutch Conversion Kit converts your 2008-2010 6.4L Powerstroke to a mechanical clutch setup provides increased air flow at lower engine RPM for increased cooling of not only the engine, but also the interior cab space. This kit is made for service and other off-road trucks that sit at idle or elevated idle (PTO needs) for a majority of the day. Due to the increased engagement of the fan it is not meant to be used with daily driver trucks as the roar from the fan is quite loud. Tuning may be required to eliminate stock fan clutch codes.
