Manual Transmissions

Zumbrota Drivetrain Manual Transmissions are rebuilt to the highest quality standards using a three-step process. First, they perform a pre-inspection for case cracks, excessive wear, and OEM specific problems. Second, they measure component parts to ensure OEM specifications are met. Last, but not least, they ensure each unit is built to their high-quality standards and tested and ran through numerous real-life scenarios on their in-house dyno.  Each unit goes through an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by proprietary deep cleaning that sets the standard for manual transmission remanufacturing. 

Remanufactured to like-new condition by craftsmen with over 150 years of combined industry experience, every Zumbrota Drivetrain Transfer Case is rebuilt to unparalleled standards. The transfer cases and their internal components are inspected and tested for signs of wear like cracks, stripped threads, shaft warp, gear wear, and chain stretch. Once inspected, Zumbrota Drivetrain uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning on all external surfaces. Once cleaned, each unit is fully rebuilt with replacement of all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers. All finished units are thoroughly tested for shiftability and noise, then packaged and shipped in high density plastic totes to eliminate damage in transit.

Axle Assemblies

Making sure you keep rolling down the road, Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to the highest quality standards of precision and reliability. Each Axle assembly is thoroughly inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Then, all internal components are fully inspected and tested including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. Each gear set is fully inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque using inch pound measurements for precise setup and longevity. Zumbrota Drivetrain uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning on all external surfaces that set the standard for Axle assembly remanufacturing.
