Like all the XDP X-TRA Cool products, this HD Intercooler is designed to
mount in place of your stock equipment using all existing brackets,
mounting points, and hoses. The X-TRA Cool HD
Intercooler is manufactured using a rugged bar and plate core design to give
you improved durability and reliability.
Direct-Fit Intercooler
Each
X-TRA Cool Direct-Fit HD Intercooler was designed with the installer in mind, for an easy
installation. Since there are no modifications needed to mount
it in your truck, this helps save you time and gets your ride back on the road quicker. Simply swap out the
factory unit with the HD Intercooler and re-use all your stock brackets, mounting points, and
intercooler plumbing components.

X-TRA Cool Direct-Fit HD Intercooler is built stronger
than your stock intercooler, it can withstand more! Each unit has 100%
TIG welded end tanks and a bar and plate core design
that offers superior durability and strength to help withstand higher boost
pressures and the most extreme conditions.

So far so good. Fit perfectly and immediately noticed a drop in my EGTs. This product was bought for the sole purpose of dropping my EGTs a few hundred and it did the trick.
