The X-Wheel is designed to eliminate the common compressor surge in most stock 99.5-03 7.3L Powerstrokes. The altered wheel design increases airflow resulting in all-around better performance at higher boost levels.

The X-Wheel is designed for Stock Turbo's, not high-performance/ball bearing turbo's.

Installation of the X-Wheel will take approximately 3-4 hours. We highly recommend that installation is done by a professional mechanic.

The wheel is a cheap way to increase turbo sound, and it does stop turbo surges!! But unless you are over 2000 RPMs you can't really hear the difference and installing it can become a bit tricky. I'm not sure if I would recommend this to everyone but if your not afraid to get your hands dirty and especially if your hauling a lot then I would encourage getting it. Just my opinion.
Great Product!!! Great People!!!

The x-wheel did exactly what was advertised. I have a slightly built 2000 F-250 SD 7.3L and I use it often for towing. Since installing the x-wheel, I have seen quicker spooling and better throttle response. The surge problem I had is gone! Also, the sound is much more pleasing than the stock compressor wheel. All in all, I am very pleased to have purchased this product. Shipping was free and prompt and customer service is wonderful.
worth the money

This is without a doubt worth the money. Got it installed by diesel doctor in platville. I highly recommend having a shop install it. I pulled off the turbo, and had a shop install it. That way then, they can inspect the charger. I noticed a definite power boost, lowered egts, quicker spool up, and a sweet turbo whistle. Not to mention it got rid of that annoying turbo surge. Your not gonna waste your money with this fancy doo-hicky!

My truck was low on power and already had a muffler delete and k&n drop in. Original wheel was toast, just flat out worn out. Replaced the and she runs as good as new and in about an hour and a halfs work.
