Great filter

Great fuel filter and the price is unbeatable here on XDP. Getting about 5000 out of these fikters, could probably go more but for the price I'd rather get a quality name brand filter for less here than spend twice as much at an auto parts chain for a no name filter that I have to replace twice as often.

these filters are junk, I bought some in bulk and what a mistake the caps leaked on all of mine
New Style is JUNK

I've used these filters for years. My last time buying a few, I noticed that the style had changed slightly.... Long story short, they are JUNK now. Caps WILL LEAK and I will never buy these again.

The reason this product has a high fail rate is the o ring is flat. The Motorcraft o ring has points on it. This after market product probably could not exactly re produce the proprietary ring.Follow Ford's recommendation to use Motorcraft parts.

Overall I'm very disappointed with this part. I've given it several thousand miles and the product failed. Not only that but issues with the o-ring causing the cap to get stuck which led to everything getting destroyed upon removal. Now I'm left with a much larger bill now to replace the garbage product. Lastly the filter material itself started to separate itself too. Stay away from this part in my opinion.
