The 03-07 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel is 21st Century Technology from top to bottom. The AIRAID engineers had their work cut out for them when they set out to improve upon perfection. This new engine utilizes an in-line air filter that is both restrictive and expensive to replace. At the heart of this AIRAID® Intake System is our innovative SynthaFlow™ series High-Flow (1406 cfm) Filter. The filter is protected from engine heat by an innovative box constructed from heat resistant x-linked polyethylene and topped off with a Cool Air Dam (CAD) for added flow. Also incorporated with this kit is a specially designed intake tube that correctly locates the filter for peak performance and improved drivability. easy to install, no need to do much, all parts included,maibe 1/2 hour total.
will see a response in the acceleration, engine breath lot better.

I installed this unit in my 06 F250 6.0L and was a very easy install. Took about 30-40 minutes total. Sounds great and XDP has a great prices and products. Shipping took a little longer than expexted but nothing to complain about. Haven't really noticed much of a fuel mileage gain but can tell a slight increase in horsepower. I would recommend this intake for anyone with a 6.0L.

Very nice kit, was esy to install and noticeable diffrence. Would of liked a lid, on top for engine compartment. IAT seems a little high at idle in traffic.

The airaid intake for the 6.0 powerstroke fit extreamly good and sound, mpg and performance were all improved. One small detail that this intake had that was very nice is that the airaid induction tube had provisions for early 2005 trucks that have a temp sensor instead of a MAF sensor. Great buy

I put this on my 04 with the 4" mbrp exhaust and the difference is noticable. The turbo definantly spools faaster and the engine breathes better. It is very easy to install with basic tools. I gained 3 mpgs with the pair definantly recommend to anyone.
