Description

Eliminate the stock belt-driven fan and shroud with the Super Duty electric fan to improve gas mileage, horsepower, torque and air conditioning temperature.

The new Super Duty Diesel fan measures 26½" x 30" x 4½" pulls up to 6200 cubic feet per minute and draws 28-36 amps.  Features a fabricated brushed aluminum shroud with mounting points made specifically for the radiator. The variable speed control module independently operates the fans from 60% to 100% depending on engine temperature and A/C activation. An optional manual switch (Flex-a-lite #31148) allows the electric fan to be turned off through water crossings.  Custom brackets make this a bolt-on installation.

Recover 27HP and boost your fuel mileage by 6% just by
eliminating your stock clutch fan assembly

They have worked very well and you can definetly feel a HP gain. The instructions for the installation procedure isnt the best. DO NOT buy these fans if you tow any trailers with loads. Once you buy the fans in the booklet it says no towing 18000 lbs including truck and trailer. So I strongly recommend to buy this product if you dont haul anything but anyways these fans are well worth it.

Very well made

Installed a very high quality unit with basic tools. Instructions were clear and complete. For a few months I kept the old shroud and stock fan.. 03 Excursion with a 7.3.- engine response is much better without stock fan load- AC stays really cold at idle in traffic

Frequently Asked Questions

These fans should work great for towing? Reviews say they dont? I would only buy a fan set if it was more efficient cooling my engine, transmission, while towing.
As per Flex-a-lite the fan may be used for towing, but they recommend a clutch fan to be the best type of fan to have on a vehicle that frequently tows.
