Got an ATS deep trans pan for my 2006 LBZ Duramax and bought this deep filter to go with it (unknowing that the pan came with one). I installed this one first and it was easy as pie and now I have a backup for when I do my next fluid change. It doesn't look much "deeper" than stock, but that extra inch or so that it pushes the filter into the fluid is required when running a deep trans pan. Hope it filters as good or better than stock!
