Once disassembled into individual components, each part is thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Next, checks are performed for microscopic damage at the housing, compressor, turbine wheels, and rotating assembly. All bearing surfaces are then precision machined before reassembly. The wheels and rotating assemblies are balanced to OEM specifications. All critical wear parts such as seals, thrust plates, bearings, and fasteners are replaced. A 100% end-of-line testing is performed through the full RPM sweep along with a Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH) analysis to ensure the highest quality turbochargers and components. In addition, hot gas stand and burst test validations are done as well as hydraulic and pneumatic leak testing.
