The Aero Exhaust AT4040XL Aero-Turbine Resonated Performance Muffler gives your truck an aggressive, yet more mild tone due to the resonated design. Built for high-output diesel engines, the Aero-Turbine Performance Mufflers feature a patented airfoil technology that increases horsepower, torque, flow and also reduces temperatures. The AT4040XL is the only performance muffler that will give you the performance of a full system at a fraction of the cost.
Most vehicles have extreme restrictions on exhaust airflow, which increases exhaust temperatures and decreases engine longevity. The Aero-Turbine breakthrough, based on thermodynamics and jet engine technology, literally accelerates the flow of exhaust away from the engine increasing performance and engine efficiency. Featuring a T304 stainless steel construction, this resonator has a high-temperature ceramic packing material to help absorb sound waves.

Easy installation. Does not effect the diesel rumble but eliminated the cab drown. Would buy again.

I've got a 16 Ram 6.7 Cummins that had 4" straight exhaust and it was a little too loud, especially for my neighbors when I started it at 5am. I wanted a good flowing muffler that was quieter than straight pipe, but something that would retain a good sound. This is it, in fact I think it sounds better. This muffler gives the exhaust a very low deep tone and removes the higher pitch sounds if that makes sense. I couldn't be happier with the way my truck sounds.

Installed on my 03 Cummins. I had the Silverline muffler previously. I wanted less drone in the cab at highway speeds and towing. This muffler is it! it gave my Cummins a totally different sound in a good way. It has a melow rumble but when you put your foot into it, it comes alive. I am really happy with this muffler. Excellent choice if you are looking for a quiet cab ride combined with a great sound.
