AFE Magnum Flow Pro DRY S Drop-In Replacement Air Filter 31-10172

Bought during Waterfest 2013 for my 2010 VW Golf TDI. The XPD rep was very knowledgeable about diesels and had his personal VW Passat TDI with the installed AFE CAI kit.XPD shipped my filter within 2 days! This panel filter is definitely a great "replacement" for OEM Filter. XPD appears to have the "best" price on these AFE products. Will definitely but from these folks again.The filter's silicone seal edge is fantastic and provides a better seal against fine dust around the OEM air box, then my OEM filter. If you're looking for reusable filter to replace the disposable OEM paper filters, this the one to get IMHO. An added benefit is the cost savings over the life of the car and I'll keep a few OEM filters out of the landfill.I completed a 2000 mile round trip from NJ to FL and saw an increase of a few MPG. Can't contribute the increase to the filter but there was obviously no negative decrease in MPG or perceived performance. If I get the chance to do some DYNO testing with AFE vs OEM filters I'll post over on TDIclub.com forum.
