Bought this to fix the notorious steering column "rattle" in one of the work trucks I service. Never thought I would type what I am about to type, but here it is:
This shaft is rock solid and girthy. I have no doubt that it's going to go the distance without ending prematurely. It's an impressive shaft and I am glad to have stuck it into my truck! Seriously though- I was very pleased when I laid eyes on it. You won't be disappointed. Order #1204318

Bought my 06 duramax with the clunking in the steering wheel and looked into what needed to be done. So end up doing doing a Kryptonite front suspension and a Borgeson steering shaft and absolutely love how everything has worked together. No more clunking, heavy road vibration, loose steering. I gained a smoother ride, more control in steering.Would definitely recommend BORGESON 000937 STEERING SHAFT. Order #111626

Decided to go with the Borgeson unit even though there were cheaper options out there. So glad that I did. It completely eliminated the clunking issues I had. It really is "smooth as glass" now. Highly recommend this to anyone on the fence because of the price. You won't regret it.
