Replaced my previous thermostat with this genuine part during a recent coolant flush. My '01 Dodge 5.9L is operating at the ideal coolant temperature under heavy load with the A/C blasting. Make sure to verify the thermostat temperature rating for your specific vehicle, cooler temps aren't always better with diesels.

My truck was getting hot, figured I would start by replacing the thermostat, sure enough, it took care of my problem, temp doesn’t budge past 190 and stays in the 175-190 range all the time now, highly recommend!!
