I ordered this to install the CTS3 in my dash pod I use for my CTS2, as per the Edge products customer service. However after I recieved the adapter and my CTS3, I discovered that the only reason to use this is if you are using the monitor with a backup camera. If you are not using a backup camera, the CTS2 adapter that comes with the dash pods works just fine. I was able to return and get my money back. Order# 1173566

How does it work?
If you have the CS2, you’d replace the grommet (the black rubber piece) in your dash pod with the supplied CS2 Grommet. You'd then insert the CS2 directly into the dash pod.
If you have the CTS2, you’d replace the grommet (the black rubber piece) in your dash pod with the supplied CS2 Grommet . Then insert the CTS2 Adaptor directly into the dash pod. You can now clip your CTS2 directly to the adapter in the dash pod.
I can mount this to a pillar mount? And if so, which pillar? I need a single gauge mount attached. I need a pillar mount that will work with the cts2 and a single egt auto meter gauge
In order to mount an Edge CTS2 unit into an a-pillar you will need the following:
1). EDGE PRODUCTS 98004 GAUGE PILLAR ADAPTER2). An a-pillar specific to your vehicle
Wait so does this go on top of the dash or is it like in my dash like a replacement for my gauge cluster so now my gauges would be electronic?
The Edge Products 98005 CTS/CTS2/CTS3 Pod Adapter is used alongside an existing dash pod. This adapter allows CS2 based pod to accept CTS2 and CTS3 devices.
